Long term planning for Renewable Energy in the Uttar Pradesh Utility, India (2004)

The Energy Infrastructure Service Project with funding from CIDA is working with the Uttar Pradesh Utilities to assist in the strengthening of energy infrastructure in the State. The Long – Term Investment Planning Group of the Project has commenced work on developing the least cost generation plan and also the associated transmission plan. SGA provided analysis and staff training dedicated to improving the potential of hydro, wind, solar and biomass resources in the State to contribute to power requirements.
