SGA provided prefeasibility level services as a measure of due diligence for a Toronto-based venture capital firm. We analyzed renewable energy options to reduce reliance on fossil fuelled electricity generation in 12 Ontario northern remote communities currently serviced by Hydro One Remotes. SGA provided a report of technical and cost factors influencing the installation of wind, solar and hydro generation and data for preliminary analysis. The analysis broadly defined the financial feasibility of the solar and wind options using sensitivity analysis on key factors to measure impacts on return on investment.
