Wind Monitoring Equipment for First Nation's Communities (2005)

SGA was instrumental in assisting the Aboriginal and Northern Communities Action Program (ANCAP) to recognize the potential of catalyzing Aboriginal involvement in wind energy projects early in its operations. The program concluded that a key point of takeoff for Aboriginal involvement in wind projects was the identification of wind energy potential on Aboriginal lands. In 2004/05, ANCAP obtained 15 wind energy anemometers (wind measuring devices) for deployment into Aboriginal communities.

SGA was responsible for managing the expediting of equipment to communities and assuring its erection.
